Novice/Amateur Scoring
- Silver – 77.99 and below
- Elite Silver – 78 to 79.99
- Gold - 80 to 83.99
- Elite Gold – 84 to 87.99
- Platinum – 88 to 90.99
- Diamond – 91 and up
Competitive Scoring
- Silver – 79.99 and below
- Elite Silver – 80 to 83.99
- Gold – 84 to 86.99
- Elite Gold – 87 to 89.99
- Platinum – 90 to 93.99
- Diamond – 94 and up
All judging is final. Please direct all comments to the event director. Discussing decisions with any judge is not permitted.
Each score will be based on a point system of 100 Points (40% Technical Ability, 30% Performance & Presentation 15% Choreography, 15% Execution).
Judges reserve the right to disqualify any routine they deemed inappropriate for family viewing.
Routines that have explicit language, choreography or costuming that is not age appropriate may be subject to disqualification and will be adjudicated only.
Judges will break all ties that qualify any entries for overall and cash awards

Special Awards
Special Awards will be honoured each at adjudication by the judges to dancers/routines they thought had something special. Each routine will receive a custom ribbon and or trophy.
Judges Choice Choreography
A Choreography award will be given each adjudication chosen by the judges to the standout routine of the session. The choreographer will be awarded a plaque and special prize.
Overall Choreography
An award of $100.00 will be awarded to the best Choreography of the Competition.
Most Potential
This award goes to the Dancer that the judges felt has great potential. A Trophy and prize scholarship will be awarded.
Outstanding Acrobatic Dancer
This award goes to the Dancer that the judges felt who has acrobatic talent and potential. A Trophy and prize scholarship will be awarded.
Overall Soloist of the Year
This award goes to the Soloist with the highest overall mark of the competition. A Trophy and prize scholarship will be awarded.
Overall Production
Overall Production: Highest Overall Production will receive $100.00 and the Overall Production Trophy. This is a separate overall award.
EDC Overall High Score
Highest Overall Mark of the Competition will receive $300.00 and
the Elite Trophy.
